Created in June 2015 in RENNES, HAPPYWAIT (www.happywait.com), French leader in the digitalisation of Customer Relationship between real estate developers and housing buyers, reaches a new milestone in its development and seduces the crowdfunding platform ANAXAGO as well as the Breton fund BREIZH’UP. The € 1.6 million funding, organised by AGORA, also an investor, will enable HAPPYWAIT to accelerate its conquest of the French and European markets. 

Optimising the purchase experience through digitalisation is at the heart of HAPPYWAIT’s value proposition

For many years, property development (43 billion euros in France and more than 200 billion euros in Europe) has suffered from a contrasting image among housing buyers, due to an inadequate communication that generates stress, deterioration of the project’s productivity, loss of revenue opportunities and reputation opportunities for developers.

Forerunner of customer relationship management between real estate developers and buyers, HAPPYWAIT offers developers a global SaaS and “white label” solution, that improves the buying experience (from the digital sales file to the housing delivery) of their customers and, allows them to increase their income and the profitability of the projects by acting on the sources of dissatisfaction and tending towards the « zero reserves ».

Julien MOUAZAN (37 years old) created this solution based on his own experience as an acquirer : “In 2011 I lived the experience of buying a flat off plan. I was surprised by the striking contrast between the importance of this acquisition, often the fruit of a family project, and the experience provided by the developer. Whereas for a simple purchase on Amazon of a few euros, the experience starts right from the product search. « 

« For four years we’ve had continued profitable growth, » Julien MOUAZAN continues, « HAPPYWAIT has already been adopted by some 60 real estate developers in France for 1,000 real estate projects and customer areas managed by the solution, and accessible with a simple click on mobile. On a regularly basis and with complete transparently, their customers are informed of construction’s progress and can even request changes of facilities online, thus they can fully appropriate the project and become positive ambassadors for their developer. « 

Investors to support announced growth

« So far, we have doubled our revenues each year and achieved this development with our own financial means, a small but very motivated team, and also with the support of VILLAGE by CA of Rennes, where we were located until the first half of 2019 « , emphasises Julien MOUAZAN. « Prospects are becoming more and more numerous, we must quickly scale up. That’s why I selected ANAXAGO and BREIZH’UP for their knowledge of the real estate market and their ability to support us over time in our commercial development and in the technological evolution of the solution. « 

The vision of Julien MOUAZAN on the place of HAPPYWAIT in the coming years on the French and European markets ?

« Undisputed leader of course ! In France, the digitalisation new property acquisition is only at the beginning, this is also the case in many other European countries that we target. Moreover, for now, our solution is mainly used in collective housing programs but it is just as relevant for any other type of real estate project. «
